Announcing C.A.S.E. 2.0: Our Official AI Governance Framework
From principles to practice. Inside the two-part, auditable system we use to build AI that ships trust.
Last week, we discussed how labs like Anthropic are validating the core theory behind our work: that AI safety requires a deep understanding of human context and values. It was a powerful affirmation of the principles we’ve been building on from day one.
Today, I’m not just talking about the theory; I’m sharing the complete, operational system.
I’m thrilled to publish the updated, official C.A.S.E. Governance Framework.
Over the past month, through deep work with enterprise leaders, I’ve refined and sharpened our foundational documents. The core principles are unchanged, but the language is clearer, the structure is more robust, and the path to implementation is more actionable than ever.
This is our comprehensive, auditable system for building AI that is not only intelligent but wise. It’s composed of two core documents:
1. The Principles of the C.A.S.E. Governance Framework:
This is our manifesto. It’s our ethical constitution, outlining the “why” behind our mission to build systems that enhance human wisdom, not replace it.
B.AI Governance Framework, Part 1: Principles of the C.A.S.E. Framework™
This is Part 1 of our official B.AI Governance Framework, updated on October 6, 2025. This document outlines our ethical constitution—the “why” behind our work. You can read Part 2, our operational blueprint, in the B.AI Operating Charter:
2. The B.AI Operating Charter:
This is our blueprint. It’s the operational rule of law, detailing the engineering spine—the CUE Matrix™—that translates our principles into verifiable, auditable AI behavior.
B.AI Governance Framework, Part 2: The Operating Charter
This is Part 2 of our official B.AI Governance Framework, updated on October 6, 2025. This document is our operational blueprint—the “how” that brings our principles to life. You can read Part 1, our ethical constitution, in the Principles of the C.A.S.E. Framework.
These documents are the culmination of years of research and practice. They are our answer to the industry’s biggest challenges.
And this is just the beginning. Over the next four weeks, I’ll be publishing a new post every Tuesday, going deeper into each of the four pillars of C.A.S.E.: Context, Attunement, Safeguards, and Escalation.
Thank you for being on this journey with me. Let’s build the future we dream of.
